Metalogix, the company responsible for creating the Revolution Plating System, the first, all in one, open ring fixation system for long-bone trauma, charcot, foot and ankle, congenital deformities and pelvic trauma, announced today the hiring of Keith Peeples as President. Peeples will oversee business operations and personnel, focusing on developing and defining the strategic direction of the company.
“Keith brings more than 40 years of medical industry experience, as well as a solid reputation in providing the leadership needed to continue our very strong and steady growth,” says Metalogix CEO Douglas Klein. “We welcome his expertise and are excited to have him join our team.”
Prior to joining Metalogix, Peeples served as president and CEO for Biomedical Enterprises (BME), a company that was one of the first U.S. manufacturers of Nitinol metal implants for musculoskeletal fixation, as well as a market leader in memory metal implants for bone fixation. Peeples was responsible for building BME into a multi-million dollar company, leading an acquisition by Depuy Synthes in 2016.
“It’s my privilege to join Metalogix – the team’s vision and innovation created a very different and superior external fixation system that more and more surgeons are beginning to adopt,” says Peeples. “I look forward to providing strategic direction that will allow Metalogix to expand its presence and offer even more innovative external fixation solutions.”
